A few weeks ago Richard and I took a little trip to London for some good old quality one-on-one time with my hubs. It was the perfect timing, since Thor was in Spain on a vacay with my parents and our 11th anniversary was just around the corner, so a quick getaway just for the two of us was exactly what we needed😊 When we heard that airBaltic started doing straight flights from TLL to LGW we decided to book flights and head to Lonnie town for a long Easter weekend of 4 days full of good food, pretty scenery, great shops and the best company. E voilá - 2 hours later we were there!

Although the weather was rather cold and rainy the time we were there, which is what it's like every time I go to London and let's face it - you sort of need to except London to be rainy anyway😜 So we didn't let that bother us and had the best time there! London is a metropolis with endless things to do, here are my top 5 tips of what to do for a great time in the city:

Fun & Fashionable Things To Do In London

1. Explore

Go out there and just explore the city! With so many different areas, interesting architecture, beautiful parks, sightseeings and cool buildings there's something for everyone. I personally love the South Kensington and Chelsea area with the historic picturesque houses and the blossoming trees the most🌸

2. Shop

London is for sure a place for a great shopping spree and what's a trip without a little shopping, right?!😉 Everything from high street to high end, from luxury to vintage - you've got it covered! New Bond street has all the designer stores side by side and just around the corner on the Regent street there are all the main high street brands with their stores.

3. Inspire

One thing I always like to do on my travels is to sit down at a nice cafe outside, have a cup of coffee and do people watching. It gives me so much inspiration just looking at people - the way they dress, how they walk and talk and just live their everyday lives. London is an excellent place for street style inspiration!

4. Eat

What would my city guide be without cafe recommendations! You know I'm a total foodie and always look up cool restaurants I want to visit before my travels. So naturally I did the same for London as well😋 London offers everything from breakfast cafes to healthy eating, prettiest cupcakes to posh restaurants, secret bars to hipster eats. Just step inside and you'll be amazed!

5. Capture

Whenever I travel anywhere, of course I take lots of photos. Being a (fashion) blogger, photos are part of my everyday life. Regarding that profession of mine, finding new beautiful places to take photos at can often be a struggle. But I can definitely tell you that London is the place for capturing beautiful photos!! Every corner is so photogenic and different and you'll always get a good photo😉
