Today is a super special day on our family since it is our third wedding anniversary. And even though we've been together with Richard for over 10 years already (omg!!!😍), we learn something new about each other daily. Marriage, and relationship in general, is work and you have to put your time and effort into it for it to really work. Just like with anything else! If you don't put your whole heart into it and just take it as it goes, it will fade away or fall apart.

Marriage takes love and care and nobody's marriage (or life) is perfect, so obviously we've been through our share of ups and downs during those 10+ year being together and our 3 years of marriage. But that's the beauty of it, really!😊

So today, on the day of our third wedding anniversary, I wanted to share with you the 3 things I've learned from being married for 3 years:

1. Keep The Mystery & Excitement

It's super important to have fun together, just the two of you. Especially when you're married! Don't stop dating and getting away from time to time. Keep surprising each other and just keep the mystery and excitement alive. Be curious to find out something new about your husband and experience different things together, getting out of your daily routine and just having fun!

2. Communicate

Communication really IS key in any relationship. It is so easy not to share your thoughts or feelings and hold things to yourself, which could lead to misreading each other. That can make you feel alone and not understood, which is the worst thing that could happen in marriage. Which is why you should never stop talking to each other about all the small things and all the big things. Even after 10 years being together, you can never assume that your other half really knows and understands everything about you.

3. Enjoy Each Other

For any marriage to work, you have to really like each others company. Humour is really crucial in understanding each other and being on the same page. Make each other laugh and don't take life too seriously all the time. Another thing that's a big part of any relationship is intimacy. You have to feel loved and make your other half feel loved. Be intimate and keep it sexy😉

"A strong marriage requires two people to love each other.
Even on those days when they struggle to like each other."

Are you guys married? If so, what has marriage taught you?😊
