where to eat in florence food guide

Late last night I arrived back from Florence and before I forgot these names, I wanted to share with you the restaurants which served the best food and gave me the best experience in general, so that the next time you're in the neighborhood, you know where to go😊 But now, without further ado - here's my food guide to Florence:

Ristorante I 4 Amici

Restaurant I 4 Amici is the best place to visit for fish and seafood! What looks like a very modest and simple place at first, offers the most delicious Italian seafood dishes, where everything is made from fresh ingredients. If you're a seafood lover like me, then this place is a true jackpot😉
(Via Orti Oriccellari 29, 50123 Florence)

This rooftop restaurant situated at the top of Westin Excelsior hotel is a great place to visit if you fancy food, cocktails and a great view. The prices are a bit higher compared to other places and the food is very molecular gastronomy but the view is pretty amazing. Book a table there during the sunset!
(Piazza Ognissanti 3, 50123 Florence)

Another great rooftop restaurant is on top of hotel Kraft, where you can enjoy traditional Florentine cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are quite large. On top of that, Terrazza Rossini offers literally the best view over whole Florence with its 360° view. Totally worth the visit!
(Via del Solferino 2, 50123 Florence)

Trattoria 13 Gobbi

Loved by the locals, Trattoria 13 Gobbi is a meat restaurant that's always crowded. They're famous for their Florentine meat that's too big for even 3 people and they also have great pasta selection. Although book a table in advance, cause otherwise you won't be able to try this place out!
(Via del Porcellana 9R, 50123 Florence)

Borgo Antico

If you're craving authentic Italian pizza, Borgo Antico is the place to visit! Situated opposite the Santo Spirito church, this restaurant is consistently busy. They serve traditional Florentine cuisine where you can choose from pasta, meat, fish and pizza.
(Piazza Santo Spirito 6R, 50125 Florence)

Have you been to Florence? Which restaurants were your favorite?😊

  1. I Loved Gucci caffe even though it is not a restaurant.

    1. Sadly it was closed while I was in Florence, but definitely planning on visiting it next time I'm in Florence ;)
