Paris is always a good idea! Especially when visiting it with your sweet family, including the sons aka Thor & Hugo - for both of whom it was a first time in the city of lights (but more about that in my next post!).

Speaking of Paris, every time I go, the hotel where I'm staying at is super important to me. Starting from the actual location, I like it to be situated in one of my favorite areas of the city, so that it's close to all the places I like to go to when I'm in town. I always try to walk as much as possible between distances, since Ubers take forever and so being in walking-distance to all my fav cafes and shops is kind of a big deal😜 The hotel where we stayed this time around, Buddha-Bar Hotel is located literally next to all the designer stores and close to one of my absolute favorite restaurants Costes, so obviously location points are 10/10!

Another thing that I pay attention to when booking a hotel in Paris is the building itself - we're in Paris after all, which means the hotel should have that dreamy Parisian balcony, right!? Buddha-Bar was such a great mix between oriental and Parisian design, being timelessly classy with a touch of trendy fusion with a dominant red & orange colors throughout the hotel from the lobby to the rooms. Speaking of hotel rooms, then its bed is the most important thing in it, don't you agree? I often struggle sleeping well anywhere else besides my bed because of "wrong" pillows. Luckily this wasn't an issue at Buddha-Bar since  you can choose from 5 different pillow types according to your usual likeness💁 Oh, and major bonus points for having the Dyson hairdryer in room so a good hair day was guaranteed!

Thirdly, and definitely the most important criteria for the hotel this time around was that it had to be dog friendly. I saw a cute dog photo on Buddha-Bar's instagram and was convinced that Hugo will have the best time there. And I wasn't wrong! Everything from the bone-shaped bowls to the softest shawls to sleep on, Hugo was loving his first hotel experience for sure🐩

And lastly, let's talk about breakfast because if you're like me, starting a day without a good breakfast is not an option. At BB, the breakfast buffet is very French with lots of pastries & croissants, a big selection of different types of cheese for all the camembert lovers and lots of fresh fruits and berries to get all your vitamins in. Also, if you're craving some snacks before bed, then the in-room selection is very good. I loved the chips & popcorn. Have them with champagne and thank me later!

PS: Make sure to also visit Buddha-Bar restaurant near the hotel for delicious Asian Fusion cuisine and great experience in general😉👌
