After discovering Bordeaux for three days we moved more towards the South of France and spent some time in beautiful beach & surf city Biarritz. Now, Biarritz itself is a wonderful little town where there's something for everyone. In addition to all the Bali-inspired cafes and shops, surf stores and countless tapas bars, there's also a different side of Biarritz - with luxury shopping and Parisian cafes. And in the middle of that area, across the street from Hermes store, there is Grand Tonic Hotel Biarritz, the hotel in which we stayed at for a few nights during our travels.

Grand Tonic hotel is the place to be, when you want to enjoy all the luxuries when travelling but also be close to the beach and in the middle of all the fuzz. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are extra cool and the the restaurant-bar takes you back to the 1950's with its design and vibe. Though the hotel is quite big with 6 floors and 64 rooms, we couldn't hear anyone or anything, which is a must-have for a nice vacation! Also, major plus points to having my favorite wine, Miraval Rosé, in their room service list, which we naturally ordered too😏👌

All in all, Grand Tonic Hotel is a very relaxed yet classic hotel chain that also has two Tonic hotels   in Paris, so go check them out if you're there! It's definitely something for all the color-lovers cause  there are lots of colors and patterns used in the hotel interior. Btw, this hotel is pet friendly, which is a huge bonus if you're the type of people who like to travel with their dog as my mom does😜 I always know from her how hard it is to find nice hotels that allow staying with pets.

  2. My work trips have taken me to Grand Tonic Biarritz last two years and this September is no different. I sign all you say about the hotel and from the photos I can see they have renovated the lobby and the restaurant. Super excited to see it all soon :)
