Whenever I travel, I like to stay at different hotels to make the whole trip a new experience for me. This way I can discover new areas of the city, visit new places, meet new people and just experience the city in another way than the previous time. That's why for our little getaway to London this time around, we decided to split the trip in half and spend the first part staying next to the Tower of London and the second part staying in the heart of London's West End.

Now, you know my love for boutique hotels - they're personal, they're stylish, they're special and, most importantly,  they're small. So for the second half of our London trip we decided to stay at Victory House Hotel, a boutique art deco design hotel that makes you feel like you're literally inside the movies from 1950's. Love a hotel with a concept!

We stayed at their executive queen room which was very spacious and super stylish as you can see from my above photos. The bathroom was so pretty and I loved that there were many seating areas besides the bed to just relax, read a book (which they had many great ones inside the room btw) or have a cup of coffee. For someone like me, who is always hungry haha, I loved that they had so many interesting and healthy snack in the room to enjoy👍 The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were just right for me. I know that not having the right pillow is a big issue for many when travelling and can really effect not only their sleep but the overall mood of the trip.

Now, the breakfast menu at Victory House is something you have to try! And when you do, don't just have their buffee menu but instead order a classic English breakfast at their super stylish and chic Petit Bistro. I had eggs Clementine and Richard had eggs Benedict and they were both absolutely delicious!

The only downside I have about this hotel is that since it is located at the Leicester square aka the square that never sleeps so it is quite loud and noisy from the early morning till the late evening with people chatting at cafes, musicians playing on the streets etc. So in case you have important meetings and you need to get a good night sleep to wake up refreshed early in the morning, it might not be the best option (or bring your ear drops with you!). But when you're out on vacation instead, the location is perfect - lots of places to go our for a snack or drinks, shopping nearby and the feeling of being in the center of all the buzz to get the best experience from the whole trip.

We were in London for a fun long weekend, so this was exactly the right pick for our little getaway😊
