Hello-hello my darlings and I'm back with my regular posts after this insane giveaway marathon we've been having here for the whole December. You still have a change to participate in the last 5 ones so be sure to enter your favorite giveaways (or all😜) right here!

Now that winter is here finally with snow and everything and the cold weather gets the best of us, it is super important to keep warm. This obviously means layers on layers of clothes. But one thing that often doesn't get as much attention is keeping our head and ears warm. And even though I'm a true hat-lover, I know how a hat can totally mess up your hair and so I usually wear hats only on bad hair days haha or when it's actually super cold outside. Are you the same?

If so, then luckily for us there's a super adorable and chic way to save our ears from the winter colds with ear muffs! Not only for the kids, furry ear muffs are super on trend this winter, adding a really stylish and fun touch to your winter outfits! Yet they are also probably the trickiest piece to get just right, which is why here are some tips and tricks on how to rock ear muffs this winter😉

Firstly, as that type of ear muffs are super big and furry and a total statement piece, you don't want to overdue with your hair and makeup. Wear your hair simply in a bun or loose with some light waves in them. A high ponytail also looks super great with ear muffs! As for makeup, also keep it rather simple - minimalism is key, creating a natural glowing look with just a tiny bit of color on your cheeks and lips and light mascara on your lashes.

Clothing-wise don't over complicate your look. Try not to add any further volume around your neck or shoulders, instead opt for sleek and smooth lines. Other than that ear muffs work great with lots of different styles from an oversized coat to shearling to a biker jacket. They go together super well with both, dresses and skirts to jeans and casual trousers and work ideally for the city chic style to a winter country side attire.
