New York City is a must visit for everyone at least once. But since Manhattan is such a big island and there are so many places to go to, it's quite hard to get the best experince of the city. Especially when you're visiting the city only for a short time. But don't worry, I'm here to help :)
I put together a little NYC guide for you with 8 things you absolutely must do in New York! Here they are:
I put together a little NYC guide for you with 8 things you absolutely must do in New York! Here they are:
1. Enjoy The View From The Top Of The Rock
There's no way you can visit New York without admiring the concrete jungle from the top! And the best way to do it is by going to the observation deck on top of Rockefeller center. The view from there is simply amazing and totally worth the little wait on the line ;)2. Admire Street Art In Little Italy
Little Italy area in downtown is really industrial and has lots of great cafes to visit. But what there's even more is the amazing street art on every corner and every wall for you to take photos of / with or simply observe. Inspiration garanteed!3. Shop At Soho
Soho isn't called the fashion district for no reason! There are lots of shops from designer stores to high street fashion brands waiting for you to come in and renew your wardrobe. Or just do some window shopping ;) The architecture of the neighborhood is totally on point and made Soho my favorite part of NYC.4. Have A Drink At A Rooftop Bar
We had an amazing rooftop bar on top of our hotel with a view to the city, where to end the day over a glass of wine while looking at the sunset. Doesn't get much better than this! Although this rooftop was open only for the hotel guests, there are plenty of public rooftop cafes to visit :)
5. Walk Across The Brooklyn Bridge
I suggest you walking over the bridge from the Brooklyn side towards the city and time it to be during the sunset to get the most amazing view of the panorama from a pink-skyed start to all of the shining lights. And take lots of photos along the way!
6. Take A Walk On The High Line
Created from an old railway, The High Line is the coolest little "park" on the rails surrounded by buildings of the Meatpacking District. It's a super nice walk through the neighborhood and I absolutely love the creativity and the fact that they kept the railway up and turned it into a cool pedestrial road.7. Explore The Lights And The City Buzz On Times Square
Wow! Times Square is super busy no matter the hour and wakes you up in a second. From the flashing billboards to the police sirens to the masses of people, it's a true New York. Just take some time, sit down and watch it all around you ;)8. Sit Down And Relax At Central Park
When you get tired of all the people and buildings and, most of all, from all the noise, then step inside the Central Park which is like a green oasis in the middle of the city. It is so quiet and peaceful there as if the time has stopped. Sit down on a bench and watch people running, riding bikes and children playing. Recharge a little and get back to the city of lights!New York on linn, mida peab iga üks vähemalt korra oma elu jooksul külastama.
Nimelt panin ma teile kokku väikese NYC reisigiidi 8 asjaga, mida peaksite kindlasti New Yorkis tegema! Siin nad on:
1. Naudi vaadet The Top Of The Rock'i vaateplatvormilt
New Yorki külastades ei tohi sealt lahkuda ilma seda pilvelõhkujaid täis betoonist džunglit ka ülevaltpoolt vaatamata! Parim vaade linnale avaneb Rockefeller centeri otsas olevalt vaateplatvormilt. Uskuge mind, see vaade on väärt seda veidikest järjekorras ootamist ;)2. Imetle tänavakunsti Little Italy's
Little Italy naabruskond on hästi industriaalse stiiliga ning seal on meeletult palju kohvikuid. Kuid mida on seal veel enam, on tänavakunst. Lahedaid joonistusi kohtab igal nurgal ja praktiliselt iga seina peal. Inspiratsiooni meeletult!3. Shoppa Sohos
Joo kokteile katusebaaris
Selles hotellis, kus meie peatusime, oli katusel ülicool katuseterass, kus õhtul teha klaasike veini ja vaadata päikeseloojangut. Paremat vaadet annab otsida! Meie hotelli katusebaar oli avatud küll vaid hotellikülalistele, kuid üle terve New Yorki on väga mitmeid avalikke katusekohvikuid, mis ootavad külastamist :)
