shopping tallinn designer store pop up les petites nu nordik

A few weeks ago fashion platform Fashionbloc contacted me to write a quest article for them about shopping in Tallinn introducing Estonian brands and sweet little designer stores a fashion-loving tourist would be interested in exploring. I'm sharing this article here with you aswell.

Paar nädalat tagasi võttis minuga ühendust moeplatvorm Fashionbloc ning palus mul neile külalis-artikkel Tallinna ostlemisvõimalustest kirjutada. Sealjuures tutvustades Eesti brände ja armsaid väikseid disainerpoode, millega moehuviline turist peaks tutvuma. Jagan kirjutatud artiklit teiega ka siin.

When planning a trip to Tallinn, be sure to prepare yourself for some serious shopping. Although we have stores of all the well-known high-street brands like Zara, H&M, River Island etc, I suggest you to dig a little deeper and discover brands you can’t find anywhere else in order to make your trip truly memorable (and other jealous).

When it comes to clothing, there are SO many amazing designers in Estonia and most of them have the coolest little studios situated across Tallinn. But those studios can be sometimes hard to find for someone out of town. So to make your shopping experience a bit easier, I've brought out 3 of my favourite stores to visit when you're a fashion savvy tourist interested in Estonian design.
les petites vintage designer store tallinn

Les Petites is an Estonian design and vintage boutique, perfect for all the vintage lovers. I like Les Petites cause it has a wide selection of products from Estonian young designers. You can shop the store for clothes and accessories, jewelry and interior design elements. It also sells good music and cool bicycles! You can find Les Petites store in Kalamaja at Telliskivi 60a.

pop up store estonian designer clothing tallinn

Pop.up is a brand new multi-brand store that sells limited edition clothing, accessories and lifestyle merchandise from local Estonian to world famous names. It caught my eye thaks to its bright colours, daringness and individuality. Pluss Pop.up sells my favourite clothing Estonian brands BTM Studio, Swärk and Kokomo! Visit Pop.up at Tallinn old town on Väike-Karja 5.

nu nordik estonian design shop tallinn

Nu Nordik is Estonias first local design store and thanks to its long history it is often the first (and only) choice for many designers to sell their new collections. Different from the rest, Nu Nordik is more focused on accessories, jewelry, art and design items for home, all from different Estonian designers. The store is situated in towndown on the Freedom square in the house of Estonian Artists Association on Vabaduse Väljak 8, so while you’re there you can visit a great art museum aswell!

All in all, when visiting Tallinn, wonder through the streets of old town and hop into sweet small boutiques and cafes, visit Rotermann quarter for great architecture and cool stores and take a trip to Kalamaja for the hipster wibe.
